Privacy notice
What happens to what you send me.

Who I am. JJ Herndon Company, LLC, P.O. Box 669931, Marietta, GA 30066, james@jjherndoncompany.com, (404) 618-1920. I am the only person who reads what you submit.
What I collect. Only what you type into a form on this site or send me by email or phone: your name, contact details, a reference number if you have one, and whatever you choose to tell me about your matter. The site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics scripts. A single browser setting, your light or dark preference, is stored on your own device and never leaves it.
How it is used. To reply to you, to research the matter you asked about, and, if you decide to engage me, to do the work. Form submissions are delivered to me by the site’s hosting provider, Netlify, which stores them so they can be delivered; I do not use them for anything else.
What I do not do. I do not sell, rent or share your information with marketers or list brokers. I do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank details or identity documents through this site. Where a claim later requires documents of that kind, they are requested directly, after we have spoken and you have decided to proceed, and only what the paying office requires.
Sharing. Information is shared only with the county, court, state office or financial institution handling your claim, with counsel you have chosen, and with anyone the law requires. Nothing else.
Retention. Inquiries that do not become matters are deleted within twelve months. Matter files are kept for as long as the claim and the applicable record-keeping rules require.
Your choices. Ask me at any time what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, and I will, subject to any record I am legally required to keep. Email james@jjherndoncompany.com.
